Fast friendly service

First time for my husband and I. It took more than 10 minutes just for the waitress to take our order, then 30 minutes before our food arrived. When it did the meat was tuff and, the waitress never came back to check on us until we were finished eating. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I know the owners and even though they try their best to get good help, in Rockdale it is hard to find. The food is good. But the overall experience of the waitstaff is not. That's why I gave it 3 stars.

We love bandas and we take my grandson all the time and he is a very picky eater and he loooooves it here. Everything on the menu is delicious. We go here all the time and it is our favorite place to eat at. You won’t be disappointed. The staff are great and friendly and you will not be disappointed. 💜

I feel like there isn't enough seasoning and when we go we are always missing something and waiting then our food gets cold. But its okay.

The salsa is not fresh; tastes like it's from a jar or something. The chips were also cold, and tasted store bought. The food was ok, but kind of bland. The tortillas were really good, and obviously made in house. The prices were also good.

The food was ok but it was also pricy

The cheese enchiladas were okay (the sauce needed some help). The rice and beans had the typical flavors. What stood out was the flour tortillas. They had an excellent flavor and texture. Also, our waitress was pleasant and courteous.

Let me first say that I've eaten better meals from them, so I was disappointed with this latest meal. The beef enchilada was dry and completely flavorless. The chicken enchilada was less dry but equally bland. And the margarita came out with sweet lemon juice. I also showed up at the end of tmlunchtime, so a lot of the tables and floors had not been cleaned yet. Not a good experience for this visit.

The toughest, chewiest beef fajitas I've ever had. And so many flies! The service was good though.

Great food and great service when the owner is there. Regular customers until last visit. Order to go often and tonight the young lady who waited on me was not only rude but when I asked for chips to go with our two plates, was told that was an extra $1.50! Have never been told or charged that. Apparently, if you order the same food and eat there you get chips (several servings) free but if you order to go, you have to pay $1.50 for the small bag. Poor customer service is never acceptable!

We're from Taylor and we were on our way to Rockdale to watch a football game. We called Banda's and got hung up on twice. We weren't able to make a to go order so we called another restaurant. Comfortable and friendly place. Everything was tasty and made to order. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and be sure to ask about the daily specials!

This has always been our Best Authentic Mexican Restaurant ever! 😍😙 We personally have always known Jacob the owner and we love our meal selection here, anything from Breakfast to Lunch to Dinner. 😃 My Favorite dish for lunch or dinner is the #32 Pollo Rancheros Plate, OMG to die for and My husband always orders the #31 Carne Guisada plate or Bowl of Caldo con Rice. No One or other Restaurant can match or come close this type of food, and we have traveled the Entire US. 😎 Thank you Banda's!

Good TexMex. I drive an hour to eat here, albeit it is a nice and relaxing drive in the country! I will also often stop when passing through town. I mostly order the Fajita Chimichanga and the wife usually has the Cheese Enchiladas, we both think the dishes are pretty excellent.

The breakfast tacos were delicious and the service was awesome! I came in with some friends after an early morning workout and it was just what I needed.

I went here for lunch. Queso dip and salsa were good and fresh. However, asked for enchalidas Al carbon with regular queso on top. They serve it with the red sauce and layer thick of grease.

Typical Mexican food. Nice environment, staff can be iffy at times but overall a good place to eat.

Was our 1st time there.Was more than satisfied. FOOD was super fresh and hot.Service was super and welcoming.Atmospere was a good vibe.Will return and will bring more guest and will recommend. Worth the drive from Caldwell.
